It is these benchmark tests reviwers in reviw pages use when considering the performance and cooling system on a laptop they tests. I have the M17xr2 and I know what it's like to be lagging due to heat issue. I haven't seen any fps drop or issue with it. I normally have the laptop on for more than 10 hrs a day and usually play games on it most of the time. I'm not too sure why those test result matter, what i'm concern with is the fact that it run well and I don't have issue while gaming. Check this out first before you can give a hypothesis. All such laptops shall conduct such tests. Start with Wprime 1024 (8 threads), Cinebench 11.5 and Prime95.
